Size
Midi beds are generally lower than high-sleepers, and also have a shorter ladder or staircase. They are therefore ideal for small rooms. They also take the standard UK single mattress and add a variety of useful elements under. From a cleverly designed desk that can be turned into a cupboard that can hold totes, to elegant drawers that have a smooth, no-wobble movement.
A lot of our Midi cabin beds are available in a variety of finishes, so you can pick the one that suits your child's bedroom most. Some take it even higher and offer a range of bespoke storage units. The desk can be moved between two units on wheels. There are four drawers for storage and two cabinets that are equipped with doors. The Eli F takes it to the next level by having doors that match the color of the chosen head and foot board.
The Luna low-line loft bed or the midi-storage bed is small and comes with everything you need. A ladder that can be turned and a desk with wheels that can slide in and out and three drawer cabinets and a chest are all included. You could also request it in reverse configuration such as the ladder on the left. Ask in the store or mention this at the time of checkout.

Some midi loft beds that have storage come with the desk already built into the bunk (as as shown in the picture above) and others, like our Luna midi bunk come with a ladder on the right-hand side so that the desk can be put at the left (please inquire in store, or on the phone, or in the comments section when you're checking out if this is important to you).
It's worth noting that most Midi loft beds with desks require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with a wooden slatted base. The cost of the bed does not include the mattress. We recommend looking at our mattress deals to find one that is within your budget.

Mattress
Most midi beds are compatible with standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk is equipped with the safety rail to give you peace of mind. Some models come with an amazing pull-out drawer that can be used for sleepovers or more storage space below the bed. They can be either open or fitted with doors (please see the product details for complete details).
A lot of midi cabins have desks that can be moved between two upper levels, or chests of drawers. This gives children their own space to keep all of their belongings. This also means they don't need to make use of floor space by using bulky shelving or wardrobes.
Some models have gone a step beyond with cabinets that are flush mounted or even part of the headboard/footboard. This is perfect to store toys and books.
